Updating emails in a live journey

It has been a while!

We have all been there…. crafted the perfect journey, added the emails and hit the publish button only to realise that the email has a typo or a broken link 🙃 Every marketeer has done it at some point! If you say you haven’t… I don’t believe you! 😂

From this month, in public preview we can expect to be able edit dynamic content, links and buttons in your email messages while a journey is running without needing to create a new version!

It may not even be that there is an error to resolve; maybe a key communication needs to be added to an email that is at a later stage/tile within the journey. This give marketing teams more control over their content without adding additional administration time.

The other little hidden gem in this feature available for preview this month is that we can also track the performance of the links if we were to edit a link within the email and can make comparisons.
